Clerk: A 10+2 qualification in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and at least 50% in each subject. Candidates must also secure 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12.
Soldier Tradesmen (All Trades): Candidates need to have passed Class 10th with 33% in each subject.
Soldier Tradesmen (Housekeeper & Mess Keeper): A Class 8th pass is required with at least 33% in each subject.
Physical Standards

Height: Minimum of 160 cm, with some exceptions. For candidates from the Eastern Himalayan Region, Indian Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis, the minimum height requirement is 157 cm.

Weight: Weight must be proportional to height and age according to Army Medical Standards.
