This 197-bed hospital is equipped with ICU, advanced imaging technology, and a well-functioning operation theatre. Professionals selected will provide case-specific care in one of Southern India’s reputed medical institutions.

Note: This empanelment is strictly temporary and does not promise a pathway to permanent employment within the Southern Railway.

Eligibility Criteria for Southern Railway Recruitment 2024

Qualifications and Experience

  • Super Specialist: Candidates must hold a post-doctoral degree, such as DM or MCh, in the relevant specialty.
  • Specialist: Applicants must have a postgraduate degree with at least three years of experience. If candidates with a postgraduate degree are unavailable, those with a PG diploma and a minimum of five years of experience may be considered.

Age Limit

Applicants should ideally be between 30 and 64 years.

Fee Structure and Compensation

Selected consultants will be remunerated on a case-to-case basis

  • Consultation Fees:
    • First Patient: ₹1,000
    • Each Subsequent Patient: ₹200
  • Surgical Procedures:
    • Minor Surgery: ₹2,000 per case
    • Major Surgery: ₹5,000 per case
    • Special Surgery: ₹8,000 per case

Note: These packages include pre-operative consultation, the procedure itself, and post-operative follow-up care for up to three days after surgery (excluding the day of the procedure).
